Toilet Tower Defense Farm Units: Rebalance Income Guide

What Do Farm Units Do?

Toilet Tower Defense farm units generate extra match money to help you place and upgrade your fighting units faster. Their income gives you more room to develop your defense as a match continues. The November REBALANCE update changed familiar farm values, so check your economy plan before following an older build.

Most farms focus on producing money instead of attacking toilets. Some have additional utility: Scientist Clockman can spawn barriers, and Titan Printer Man also deals damage. Your farm choice therefore affects both your income and what else that unit contributes.

The farm roster also includes Printer Man, Scientist Cameraman, Influencer Cameraman, Speakerwoman's Rose Farm, Upgraded Scientist Clockman, and Scientist Drillman. Farms span several unit families: Printer Man and Dark Printer Man are printers, Santa TV Man belongs to the TVs, and Scientist Cameraman and Influencer Cameraman belong to the cameras.

Farm Income After REBALANCE

The November 6–7 REBALANCE update changed all units, including economy troops. These are the income values for five familiar farms in that version:

Farm unitREBALANCE income
Octopus VIP1,750
Santa TV Man1,500
Gingerbread House1,500
Carrot Farmer Bunny Man550
Pumpkin Farmer500

Octopus VIP has the highest listed income among these five. Santa TV Man and Gingerbread House share the same income value, while Carrot Farmer Bunny Man sits slightly above Pumpkin Farmer.

Income alone does not give you a complete efficiency comparison. Compare placement costs, upgrade spending, and payout timing before choosing where to invest your match money.

Two changes matter when revisiting an older loadout or shopping plan:

  • The REBALANCE update adjusted all troops, so older unit comparisons belong to the previous balance.
  • All old crates were removed from the shop, so an older crate acquisition route may no longer be available there.

Understand When Each Farm Pays

Farms use different payout mechanics. Match your spending plan to the trigger that actually produces the money.

Toilet Tower Defense — Understand When Each Farm Pays

  • Wave income: Farms commonly provide money tied to waves.
  • Wave-skip income: Carrot Farmer Bunny Man pays when a wave is skipped.
  • Per-second income: Dark Printer Man generates money every second.
  • Pay Out Time: Titan Printer Man uses a separate payout mechanic.

A per-second value and a per-wave value measure different things. Compare earnings over the same stretch of a match before deciding which produces more useful income.

For a wave-skip farm, plan the next purchase around that trigger. For a timed farm, account for the wait between spending money and receiving enough income to fund another upgrade.

Plan Farm Upgrades Around Your Defense

Use each economy purchase to support the fighting units that keep the run going:

  1. Check your defense before investing. Keep enough money available for a combat placement or upgrade when enemies are becoming difficult to stop.
  2. Compare the upgrade cost with its added income. Look at how much extra money the upgrade generates and how many payouts it needs to recover that spending.
  3. Consider the remaining earning window. Prioritize farm upgrades that have time to return their cost during the match.
  4. Spend the income on needed combat upgrades. Use the extra budget to strengthen the units handling the next waves.

For a simple payback comparison, divide an upgrade’s cost by the extra money it adds per payout. Keep the payout units consistent: calculate wave-based returns in waves and per-second returns in seconds.

The November 7–9 QoL update also changes troop management during matches:

  • The troops manage button moves to the left side of the match screen.
  • PC players gain keybinds for upgrading and selling troops while those troops are selected.
  • Bug fixes address many units.
  • Further mobile optimizations reduce lag during play.
