What Was the Halloween Event?

The Toilet Tower Defense Halloween event brought exploding candy, potion attacks, and a Grim Reaper encounter to the game on October 12, 2024. Its rewards came through several different routes: Halloween levels, Candy-funded crates, community goals, and the Exclusive Shop. Knowing those routes helps you distinguish a quest reward from a rare crate pull before spending currency.

The update gave the lobby a spooky makeover and introduced a special Halloween mode. That mode let players earn Candy, while playing and completing Halloween quests increased their Halloween level.

For returning players, the November 2026 updates change how those older units should be evaluated:

  • The November 6 REBALANCE update rebalanced all units around their rarity.
  • The accompanying shop changes removed all old crates from sale.
  • The November 7 QoL Changes update fixed bugs affecting many units and added PC keybinds for upgrading and selling selected troops.

Use the original event details below to understand the rewards and their mechanics. Read current unit panels before planning a team around older damage numbers, upgrade costs, or shop prices.

Halloween Level Rewards: Candy Launcher and Vampire Cameraman

The original event offered two limited-time units through Halloween progression:

Toilet Tower Defense — Halloween Level Rewards: Candy Launcher and Vampire Cameraman

Halloween LevelUnitAttack mechanic
5Candy Launcher CameramanLaunches exploding candy at toilets
10Vampire CameramanDashes forward to attack, with a chance to convert eligible toilets into allies

Vampire Cameraman’s conversion mechanic had a 5% chance per dash attack. It applied only to toilets with less than 1M Strength, with Strength calculated as base HP × speed.

That restriction matters: eligibility depended on both health and movement speed, rather than health alone. Keep damage units covering the lane instead of relying on conversions to stop every enemy.

During the original event, play the Halloween mode and complete its quests to work toward both level rewards. Those unlocks followed progression rather than the Halloween Crate’s random drops.

Halloween Crate Units and Original Drop Rates

The Halloween 2024 Crate used Candy instead of Gems. Its four units covered income, splash damage, area attacks, and potion effects.

Toilet Tower Defense — Halloween Crate Units and Original Drop Rates

UnitRarityListed original chanceMain mechanic
Trick or Treat CameramanUncommon75%Collects candy between houses and sells it for match money
Headless SpeakermanEpic20%Charges on a speaker horse and gains an exploding pumpkin at later levels
Evil TV ManLegendary5%Deals area damage
Witch CamerawomanGodly0.5%Throws potions with different damage and support effects

Trick or Treat Cameraman was a timed income unit. Headless Speakerman combined a forward attack with splash damage after gaining his pumpkin, while Evil TV Man supplied another area-damage option.

Witch Camerawoman was the rarest listed pull. A 0.5% chance does not guarantee a drop within any fixed number of openings, so set a spending limit before chasing her through random crates.

The Lucky game pass also has an important restriction: its double-luck benefit applies to qualifying rare summons in the lobby summon shop. It does not apply to crates or other worlds. Do not buy it expecting improved Halloween Crate odds.

How Witch Camerawoman’s Potions Worked

Witch Camerawoman’s original kit mixed four potion outcomes. Her value came from the effects attached to each throw, alongside the initial splash damage.

PotionThrow chanceOriginal effect
Acid Potion50%Splash damage followed by five damage ticks, each worth 10% of the splash damage
Slowing Potion48%Slows toilets within the splash radius by up to 50%, increasing with upgrades
Damage Potion1%Makes affected toilets take up to 50% extra damage, increasing with upgrades
Death Potion1%Deals 10 times the normal splash damage

The two rare potions each had only a 1% chance. Build enough regular damage to clear waves without depending on a Death Potion arriving at the right moment.

Place splash attackers where they can cover groups of toilets. Pair slowing effects with damage coverage along the same stretch of track so your attacking units have more time to work.

Her original slowing effect topped out at 50%. Use that figure when reading about the 2024 kit rather than planning around a 90% slow.

Goal Crates and Titan Heart Man

Goal Crates arrived alongside the Halloween update, but they used a separate reward system.

The goals board sat above spawn, on the arch toward Endless Mode. It tracked three recurring community milestones:

  • 500 likes for each like goal.
  • 1,000 favorites for each favorites goal.
  • 2,000 group members for each membership goal.

When a milestone was reached, everyone online received a Goal Crate. Eligible locations included the lobby, Trading Plaza, matches, and the AFK Area.

The original crate contained two possible rewards:

UnitOriginal drop chanceAttack detail
Thumbs Up Speakerman99%Hits toilets with a green thumb
Titan Heart Man1%Uses speakers and gains a sword during middle upgrades

Goal Crate is the name to look for when tracing Titan Heart Man’s original unlock route. Witch Camerawoman belonged to the separate Halloween Crate.

Exclusive Shop Units: Zombie Horde Cameraman and Chair

Two additional units joined the original event’s lineup through the Exclusive Shop. Both originally cost 399 Robux.

Zombie Horde Cameraman

Zombie Horde Cameraman spawned allied zombies that fought approaching toilets. Its original upgrade progression changed the group it summoned:

  • Level 1: 5 Zombies.
  • Level 2: 3 Strong Zombies.
  • Level 3: 3 Strong Zombies.
  • Level 4: Boss Zombie + 4 Bomb Zombies.
  • Level 5: Upgraded Boss Zombie + 2 Boss Zombies + 3 Bomb Zombies.

The weaker zombies punched enemies, Bomb Zombies exploded upon death, and Boss Zombies carried powerful swords.

Upgrade the horde when you need its stronger summons. The later levels changed the composition of the group, rather than simply adding more basic zombies.

Chair

Chair flew around striking toilets. Its original attack applied 50% slowing for 10 seconds to enemies it hit.

Keep damage coverage near the enemies Chair slows. The slowdown gives your attackers more time, but you still need enough damage to finish the wave.

Fighting Through the Halloween Map

The 2024 Halloween map featured seasonal enemies including the Mutant Pumpkin Toilet and Grim Reaper. The closing encounter put pressure on defenses that left the back of the route uncovered.

Use these mechanics to guide your setup:

  1. Cover the later stretch of track. Leave attacking units in position to catch enemies that survive the opening defenses.
  2. Upgrade before accelerating waves. Expensive units need upgrades to reach their stronger attacks and effects.
  3. Turn off auto-skip when enemies start pushing through. Avoid adding another wave while the current group is already testing your coverage.
  4. Support slowing units with damage. Chair and Witch Camerawoman can buy attacking time, while splash units and the zombie horde help finish enemies.

You can enter the current game through the Toilet Tower Defense Roblox page. Check your units’ current upgrade panels before taking an older Halloween lineup into a match after the rebalance.
